Crows Synthetics (freeoilhelp.com) is dedicated to helping individuals, as well as companies of all sizes, find solutions to their lubricant and filtration needs. We accomplish this through education and the sharing of our lubrication experience with conventional and synthetic lubricants since 1972.

My background started with the US Air Force back in 1968 while maintaining helicopters. That is where I started using them on the jet engines with synthetic oils. Over the last several years, I have gained experience in several markets including the Trucking, Automotive, Motorcycle, Marine, Construction, Farming, Racing, and Industrial.

I became a very strong supporter of using and recommending the very best synthetic lubricants available according to the results we were seeing in the field.

There are several synthetics on the market presently using many different base stocks. In 1999, the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the council of Better Business Bureau ruled in a debate of what is "synthetic". Mobil challenged Castrol's replacement of polyalphaolefins (PAO's) with hydroisomerized waxes in their synthetic formulations. The Bureau ruled in Castrol’s favor and allowed them to call this hydroisomerized processed petroleum oil a synthetic. The NAD ruled that synthetic was just a marketing term since there was no true definition of what synthetic is. Since then many oil companies have replaced their True Synthetics with this highly refined petroleum oil in place of the more expensive. These new highly refined petroleum oils are better in quality and performance than the cheaper refined oils, but only come close in some parameters to a True synthetic oil  Amsoil is a True Synthetic PAO's and is not cheaper to manufacture yet Amsoil brings this oil to you with extended oil drain to offset the cost.

AMSOIL is "The First in Synthetics" and also the first in quality, protection and performance. Every other oil company in the world was given the chance to object when AMSOIL applied for trademark rights to "The First in Synthetics", yet after 90 days of waiting, not a single one objected!

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Officials stated that by claiming that AMSOIL was the first historically, that AMSOIL was also insinuating to be the best (or #1/first) from a quality or performance standpoint. AMSOIL showed the government officials comparison documentation and test data backing up the claim that AMSOIL was also the best.

After the government officials notified all other oil manufacturers that AMSOIL was claiming to be the best, not a single other oil company or competitor objected! Not a peep from any of them! I can guarantee you that if any of these competitors and major oil companies had a product better than AMSOIL they would have objected.

In fact, Mr. A.J. Amatuzio, founder, President and CEO of AMSOIL states that he often hears other companies ad slogans stating that their products are the best. They are not.

Mobil 1 has run the tag line for their advertising "nothing outperforms Mobil 1". A.J. Amatuzio states that he knows a company that does make products that outperform Mobil 1. "And you know which company that is. Mobil makes a very good oil, but I am here to tell you that that it does not outperform AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils. They can come out with advertising buzz words to market their oils, but in the final analysis, buzz words don't add one thing to their products performance. The only reason that AMSOIL has continued to grow and prosper competing with large corporations like Mobil is that AMSOIL products have consistently performed better"

Take a look at the AMSOIL vs. Mobil 1 test results at the bottom of this page. These are independent certified lab test results performed by an ASTM (American Society of Test Materials) accredited test laboratory. Now, after reading these test results do you still believe Mobil's tag line "nothing outperforms Mobil 1"? The data certainly doesn't show that, and we can also guarantee you that if this data is not 100% accurate that Mobil would certainly be contacting us.

 

Take a look at the Gear Lube White Paper or the Motorcycle Oil White Paper. These White Papers are the result of thousands of man hours of work and a lot of money. The data in these tests are performed by independent ASTM Certified test Labs and also certified by an AMSOIL INC Affidavit. The data speak for its self and shows how other competitive motors oils compare to AMSOIL motor oils and gear lubricants.

There is a growing demand in the market place for these new oils, as the bar keeps rising in regards to motor oil improvements required for new engines. The highly refined oils will never be able to measure up to the parameters of hot and cold temperatures that True Synthetics can safely handle.

Amsoil has many attributes beyond extended oil drain, which is why I started using Amsoil in my 2003 F-250 PSD and found the product to be superior oil. Since then I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge. I then started selling Amsoil in hopes that I can show others that this oil is for real. It works!  I use Amsoil in my John Deere 555, Ford 9n, Ford F150 @185000 miles and all my small equipment. During my career in USAF aviation I was certified to work on 5 helicopters that are on my DD214 I was a phase crew chef with flying status , I attended and graduated from numerous mechanical & carpenter technical schools. My background comes from 4 years in the U.S.A.F and over 35 years in the Construction field as a Carpenter-Millwright. Working in these fields, I understand the need for superior lubricants. I have been an Amsoil dealer since 2003 and have attended and graduated from many lubrication and filtration classes and seminars. I subscribe to many industry publications and magazines to stay current as well as trying to increase my knowledge of the oil industry. I now devote my time to Amsoil, so I should be able to assist you with your questions and make recommendations.
